INDUSTRY NIGHT: Time and Location TBD. In 2013, the first joint club Industry Night was a great success, bringing out more than 35 companies and serving students from HTA, BEA, Net Impact, Energy Club, and HLA. For HTA students, this is an opportunity for students to meet with representatives from not only LA and Silicon Valley tech firms, but also explore other industries as well. Event format will consist of 30-minute networking sessions at company tables of your choice - first come, first serve. A mandatory prep session will be held beforehand. Remember, many of these companies have full time and/or internship opportunities for you, so don't miss out.
Companies through HTA that have attended in the past: Google, Salesforce.com, Adobe, Intel, Yahoo!, IBM, AT&T, Intuit, and Oracle.
BAY AREA TECH TREK: The Bay Area Tech Trek is a week filled with events and networking in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Technology Institute: A day long course in the beginning of the school year taught by various industry experts from major tech companies to prepare students for the recruitment process in each respective function.
