MBA.PM Class of 2012 Case Competition

The first annual MBA.PM Graduate Case Competition is here!!  We started off the program with one, it only make sense for us to end the program with it also!!  Defend your title with your original team or team up with the new connections you’ve cultivated and show off the skills you’ve learned!

The competition is meant to be fun!!  The case will be on a company we’re all very familiar with and is only 5 pages long + exhibits.

Team size: 4-6 people

Judges: Carl Voigt

             Arif Ansari

             Stanley Fu

Dates:

4/17 – 4/23: Team Sign-up

4/23: Case distributed

4/26: 1^st round 2 page powerpoint due

4/27: Finalists announced

4/29: Final presentation – 10 AM

            Winners announced – 3 PM                          

Prizes

• USC Marshall Diploma Frame (Value $250 each)
• $100 gift certificate per team member
• Name eternally engraved on a plaque to be displayed at the MBA.PM office

1^st round:

-               Please submit a 2 page powerpoint with:

-               Page 1 – Analysis/Issues

-               Page 2 – Recommendations

Final round:

-               10 minute presentation of your findings

-               No limit to powerpoint slides

-               5 minute Q&A

Evaluation criteria:

• Rigor
• Relevance
• Application of models used in strategy class
