Final Share the Wisdom: From Student to Alumnus

 

Date: Sunday 4/29/2012

Time: 12 PM to 4 PM

 

In order to help MBA.PM students make the transition, stay involved with Marshall and leverage the resources available, we have organized the Final Share the Wisdom: From Student to Alumni session.

 

The event will be in round table format, with representatives of different USC and Marshall organizations sharing relevant and important information during the round table hour.

 

There will also be many alumni in attendance for you to network with and the winner of the first annual MBA.PM case competition will be announced!!

3:15 PM – 4:00 PM – Networking

4:00 PM – Cap & Gown Pick Up at USC Bookstore

 

No admissions required.  However, as the current event is being funded by the MBA.PM program and Marshall Graduate administration, we’d like to ask that you make a minimum $20.12 donation to the Marshall Fund Class Gift Campaign to get the event endowed going forward.  Our goal is to get a $10,000 commitment from the MBA.PM Class of 2012.  With your support, we can continue to host this event to benefit future classes to come and continue to strengthen our Trojan & Marshall Network!!

Thomas J Papa Profile:

 

Mr. Papa has over twenty years in operations and finance consulting, high level management, and marketing and sales with Fortune 500, management consulting, and investment banking firms operating in the USA, Europe and Asia. Mr. Papa’s main roles at CRESO Capital Partners are collaborating with C-level executives in developing and executing organic and acquisition strategies, fostering strategic alliances across borders, providing investment banking services including M&A financing, recapitalizations, positioning and managing Joint Venture relationships, Management Buyouts, advising on new market penetration, and consulting on Shadow Management™. Thomas is also the CEO of CRESO Capital Management Corporation, the principal management company for mezzanine investment funds for smaller private middle market companies.

Prior to starting CRESO Thomas was a member of the MBA Enterprise Corps in Eastern Europe. Mr. Papa’s experience also include working with a Emerson Electric in business and corporate development efforts for ten years where he consulted at the C-level while leading project execution teams.

Thomas received his MBA from University of Southern California Marshall School of Business with an emphasis on International Business and Entrepreneurship. He studied European Business at University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Mr. Papa’s leadership skills are fully reflected in his community activities. Thomas is President Emeritus of USC’s Marshall Alumni Board – Orange County Chapter, is an executive member of the International USC Marshall Alumni Board, serves on the boards of USC Orange County President’s Council, Trojan Club of Orange County and is Chairman of the Advisory Council. He has served on the Advisory Board for the Women Executives & Entrepreneurs for Southern California, has served six years on the Board for Young Professionals Against Cancer, and has chaired events for the American Cancer Society.
