Time: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Location: JKP
In inner city L.A. high schools, the student to counselor ratio may be as high as 750:1. As a result, some students are not exposed to college counseling. Come help students better understand the significance of college and the application process while sharing your own personal college experience.
Dress: Casual (jeans) + undergraduate t-shirt / sweatshirt. If you do not have any undergraduate swag, feel free to represent USC!
Breakfast will be provided for the volunteers, but not lunch. Lunch will only be provided for the students.
Roles & Responsibilities
We will need 2 room leads to lead the teaching material.
We will need several panelists per room with diverse college backgrounds (Public, Private, Women's, HBCU, Armed Services, etc.).
We will need volunteers who can speak to different aspects of college (admissions tests, athletics, greek life, financing, etc.).
We need volunteers who are excited and willing to help future college attendees!
