Against the Odds: Entrepreneurship when You're the Brand, the Business, and the Bet

This event is a collaboration between GWiB, EVMA, and the Marshall Poker Club, featuring Maria Ho who is a women’s poker Hall of Famer and award-winning TV broadcaster, for a conversation on what an entrepreneurial career looks like when you are the brand.



Maria Ho has earned over $7 million in live and online tournament winnings and is currently ranked #3 on the World Series of Poker’s All-Time Female Money Earners list. She made history as the first woman hired as a primary strategic commentator for a poker television series and has since become a leading voice in the game, appearing on ESPN, NBC Sports, Fox Sports, and PokerGO. She was inducted into the Women in Poker Hall of Fame in 2018 and received the Global Poker Award for Broadcaster of the Year in 2019.
