The EVMA would like to welcome you to The Los Angeles Venture Capital Panel Lunch. Senior Associates from top LA VC firms are coming to campus to speak about the Los Angeles startup scene, what they look for in a potential investment, future trends, and everything under the sun. The event will take place Monday, October 16th, from 12:30pm to 2pm. The panel will be moderated with audience (that’s you) Q&A to follow. Dress code is business casual and the event will be held in JKP 104.

A Southern California native, Jack graduated from USC in 2012. He worked at Bain & Company before joining B Capital Group in 2015. He is particularly passionate about startups solving hard problems in industrial applications - automotive, logistics, manufacturing, ag tech, construction, etc.

Investor
Isharna graduated from the Australian National University in 2011 with honors. She worked for BCG in Sydney for two years before joining SteehHouse as Director of Business Operations & Strategy. She joined Embark Ventures in January 2017.

Austin Clements
TenOneTen Ventures
Senior Associate
Prior to joining TenOneTen, Austin worked at Sony Pictures, licensing film and TV content to emerging video platforms. He began his career in investment management working with AllianceBernstein and has since held roles evaluating early stage tech investments at Creative Artists Agency, Digital Entertainment Ventures, and NY Angels.

Austin is also committed to encouraging underrepresented minorities to pursue careers in tech and entrepreneurship. He is an active volunteer in various local youth entrepreneurship programs and sits on the Board of Advisors for BUILD LA.

Austin received his MBA from NYU Stern with a specialization in Media, Entertainment, and Technology and his BA from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He is a Los Angeles native and lives with his wife and son.

Selina Troesch

Senior Associate
Selina Troesch spent her early career in investment banking at Barclays in New York. A Silicon Valley native, she left Wall Street to invest in the innovators with whom she grew up.
Selina graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York University with a degree in math and economics and top of her MBA class from the University of Southern California. She earned the CFA designation in 2012. Selina was a competitive ballroom dancer and placed third in the 2012 pro-am world championships. She has danced all her life and is a fan of Bay Area sports and all things Swiss.
