"Holacracy," is a form of organization structure which redistributes power among employees. There are essentially no bosses and no managers, and everyone operates as "CEOs" of their own roles. This model has been adopted by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs as a means to drive innovation and collective performance of a team.

The Adam Smith Society at USC and the EVMA welcome author, Aimee Groth, author of "The Kingdom of Happiness". Aimee explores the successes and failures of Zappo's CEO Tony Hsieh as he attempted to build a new and more socially conscious Silicon Valley in the heart of downtown Las Vegas using Holacracy at Zappos.

We'll be discussing the impact of Holacracy within an organization and community, America's obsession with the "cult of the entrepreneur", and the future of work. Please join us for what is sure to be an interesting conversation.
