The USC Marshall FinTech Summit is one of the flagship events at USC intended to bring Marshall to the forefront of the FinTech revolution. The event will feature a panel discussion with representatives from prominent firms across FinTech verticals. There will also be major networking and recruiting opportunities with great companies from across the United States. The panel discussion will be moderated by Marc Hamud and James Healy, the pioneers of the first FinTech class in the country.
Please register by FEBRUARY 20th to participate in our ranking process for the Roundtable part of the event.
Open to all Marshall students.

Sumeet Ahuja - Director of Product Launch Management at PayPal.
Sumeet's career spans multiple industries – semiconductors, telecom/mobile and now internet/payments. But his focus throughout has been to empower the end-consumer through compelling products and experience as well to drive business through strong partnerships. In his present role, Sumeet leads product launch management for consumer products at PayPal.
Prior to this role, he was at AT&T Mobility where he championed the rollout of AT&T's developer-facing Messaging and related communication services through the AT&T Foundry. He is an USC Marshall alumnus.
Brett Crosby - COO and cofounder at PeerStreet
Brett crafts the strategy, product and message behind PeerStreet and is responsible for product, marketing, PR, sales and business development. Previously he was Director of Marketing at Google where his 10 year tenure spanned many of Google's most prominent products. Most notably he co-founded Google Analytics, helped start Google's mobile advertising business, ran the founding marketing team that launched Google+ and most recently ran the marketing teams responsible for the dramatic growth of Chrome, Gmail, Docs, and Drive. Before Google he co-founded Urchin Software Corporation, a web analytics service acquired by Google in 2005. Brett advises and invests in startups and is an active real estate investor. He graduated USC with degrees in international relations and political science and furthered his education with programs at Georgetown, Michigan State and Semester at Sea.
Babak Farrokh-Siar - ÔÇÄVice President, Business Development & Partnerships at ÔÇÄAcorns
Babak is a dynamic business development, advertising and media sales professional with extensive experience at global corporations, developing and advancing advertising partnerships for high profile brands, across television, digital and mobile platforms. Prior to joining Acorns Babak was in charge of Advertising Partnerships at Apple. He is an USC Marshall alumnus.
Joel Frisch is the Head of Americas at Prodigy Finance. Educated in Philadelphia and London, Joel had a successful career on Wall Street and co-founded a software startup in the employee management industry prior to joining Prodigy Finance. The first US-based employee at Prodigy Finance, Joel has helped build both the team and the market while balancing the complexities of a fast scaling company in a highly regulated space across the UK and US. He thrives on the challenge of building a truly global platform that caters to 150 countries and impacts the lives of thousands of the world's best and brightest.
