It is with great pleasure for us to announce that this Wednesday we will be having an Informational Session for the Executive Mentorship Program that will be starting this November and The Israel/Viena trip, both hosted by JGSI and JAMS.

Join us at lunchtime for this session where we will be offering Shawarma meals. Please RSVP in advance so we know how many of you will be attending.

Below more detailed information about the programs we offer access to.

ISRAEL / VIENA TRIP

The JGSI Vienna/Israel trip will be this winter around mid December. JGSI is only charging 1k which includes flights, hotels, activities, and most dining on the trip etc. The trip combines touring, leadership, visiting Israeli startups, and developing friends in the Jewish community and Israel for a lifetime. This will be the 7th year we are running this mission.

EXECUTIVE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

In addition we will be offering access to JGSI's network of experienced Jewish leaders and executives in the Los Angeles area through their mentorship program.

The JGSI Executive Mentorship Program pairs students with Jewish executives from the community in the respective fields of interest. The mentors will be mentoring the students on career advice, how to balance a family life, while at the same time giving back to the community with leadership as well as philanthropically.

Past mentors have included Stephen Kaplan (Principal at Oaktree Capital and part owner of the Memphis Grizzlies ), Errol Ginsberg (founder of Ixia, a $1.15B technology business), and Paul Schaeffer (COO and Co-Founder of the Mandalay Group).

This program truly gives you the power to meet one-on-one with a high level and successful executive that is matched to you.  But as Uncle Ben told Peter Parker, with great power, comes great responsibility.

Due to the hard work it takes to secure the time of these executives and maintaining the quality network JGSI has built for it, we ask applicants take this process seriously in regards to communicating with the executives. Main guidelines to keep In mind when applying for and participating in this program will be given at the session
