One of the premier energy case competitions in the United States, The RECC is a traditional style case competition for graduate students that takes place at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan each year. The RECC features MBA teams from top national and international business schools, who compete to solve one of the many significant challenges facing the renewable energy industry today. A sound understanding of finance, business strategy, and the energy industry was required to effectively analyze the case and devise a successful solution. Each team must consist of four to five members. At least one team member must be a first year MBA student and at least one must be a second year MBA student. Prize money will be awarded to the top three winning teams - $4000 for first place, $2000 for second place, $1000 for third place. Note that this is the amount awarded to the entire team, not each individual on the team.
