Come join us for USC's 1st Annual Environmental Film Festival!

Brought to you by Marshall Net Impact, in partnership with USC Environmental Student Assembly, The Change Making Media Lab, and USC Delta Kappa Alpha.

The current environmental crisis presents a defining challenge for our society. The responses of individuals, entrepreneurs and organizations continue to drive much-needed solutions. Join us for an inspiring evening of shorts and documentaries. Filmmakers, changemakers and social activists share innovative actions for solving local and global issues.

2 - 2:50pm Global. Jeremy Kagan, Emmy Award-winning director and USC Professor,
opens with a conversation of films' role in the environmental movement. Followed by a screening of Tomorrow, a solutions-based documentary.

3 - 3:50pm Local. Let's not forget about our own backyard. Short screening and follow-up to Jefferson Drill documentary by USC student filmmaker Niki Wong. Panel discussion to follow with local groups working on various issues in Los Angeles and California.

4 - 4:50pm Individual. We care, but what can we do? Come watch and learn how the Kalu
Yala community carries forward its new model for sustainable living. Discussion and Q&A with entertainer and Kalu Yala President, Esteban Gast, to follow.

5 - 6:30pm Bringing it all together. Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and pro surfer, Cyrus
Sutton, joins us for a screening of Island Earth, followed by Q&A and panel discussion with local nonprofit partners.

Note: The film festival is divided into four 'themed' sections. We invite you to join for one, or all, of the sections. Seating is limited. First-come, first-serve basis. Make sure to arrive early to reserve a spot!
