About Us
The Asian American Business Association (AABA) was established in 1982 to bridge the gap between the business students and the Asian/Asian American business community. As a Marshall Student organization, AABA emphasizes professionalism and cultural awareness by providing students with a number of services which include, (but are not limited to) job opportunities, career workshops, corporate events, mentoring and networking events. Each semester, the organization has grown in its commitment to offer its members the best opportunities to meet the expectations of an increasingly competitive business environment. AABA is the only active undergraduate student business association at the Marshall School of Business with an emphasis on job opportunities for Asian Americans, be it with a company abroad or a global company at home. Although the organization is catered to business students of Asian descent, AABA is diverse in focus and its membership also includes student from different majors, ethnicities, and classes. Mission To present to members an array of career enhancement opportunities in an open, professional community, To provide a fountain of practical business knowledge for entry into business, and To instill cultural awareness and an international focus in the global economy.
