BGBL will be a strong community supporting all Black graduate students in the USC Marshall School of Business by fostering strong connections, focusing on the wholistic well-being of members, and advancing inclusivity within the larger Marshall community.


BGBL is committed to promoting the successes and narratives of Black business leaders of Marshall – past and present. Our mission is to create a safe space where people of color can show up as our full selves and to foster an environment that eases the transition into and journey through Marshall. Through a focus on connection, personal well-being and academic and career advancement, we will cultivate the dynamic business leaders of tomorrow.


  • Trojan Table Talk: An open forum for Marshall students to candidly discuss salient issues happening on and off campus.
  • FORWARD Summit: A panel-based conference highlighting Black and Latinx business leaders in various industries (hosted in partnership with LMBA).
