2017 C4C Alumni Gala Awards

 We are honored to recognize the following individuals for their continued dedication to service.

Golden Briefcase Alumni Award: Mark McKinely (BS '69)

USC Alumni Mark A. Mckinley Mark A. McKinely was the Chairman and Co-Founder of Equator, LLC, a web-based software application company for mortgage lenders.  Prior to co-founding Equator, LLC, Mr. McKinley was President of the Lenders Division at for Ebay, Inc., President and COO of Homes Direct, Inc., a Principal at Eagles Associates, and the President and Co-Founder of Cypress Financial Corp., a full-service mortgage banking company.  Throughout his career, Mr. McKinley has stayed involved in initiatives helping children, serving on the Board of Trustees for several schools in the Los Angeles area and as Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Kidspace Children's Museum.  Mr. McKinley received his B.S. in Finance from Marshall in 1969, and has continued to give back to the Marshall community, serving as a Chairman Emeritus of Marshall Partners, on the Marshall School of Business Board of Leaders, as an Executive Committee member of the USC Alumni Association, and as a Moderator for USC Tech on Campus.  Mr. McKinley was awarded the USCAA Distinguished President's Award in 2009. 

Cardinal Young Alumni Award: Brian Wang (MBA ’12)

USC Alumni Brian Wang MBA 2012Brian Wang served as a Co-Chairman for Marshall’s C4C chapter in 2011-12, helping to lead Marshall to its third consecutive Golden Briefcase. After graduating from the full-time MBA program, Mr. Wang joined Revolution Prep, an online education company looking to reinvent the tutoring and test prep industry.  He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and he has successfully launched a suite of math and ELA programs that support underachieving students in urban school districts.  Mr. Wang also holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University.  He currently resides in Playa Vista and continues to devote time to the Los Angeles community as a Big Brother.
