Prof. Dasu is an Associate Professor of Information and Operations Management at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Professor Dasu has published papers in journals that include Queuing Systems, Operations Research, and Management Science. In addition to teaching and research, Professor Dasu has led initiatives to apply business principles to healthcare organizations. Along with Professor Bassok, he is currently developing a proposal to train business educators in developing countries in applying operations management principles to the healthcare systems in their region. The project would provide a sustainable solution to health and poverty issues impacting third world countries.
