Are you interested in the ways technology is disrupting the retail industry? Do you have an innovative idea you want to pitch to a leading retailer? Would you like insight into the type of projects Deloitte consultants face?
A virtual competition designed to engage first year students from top MBA campuses by having them develop and pitch innovative solutions to a real client issue. This year’s challenge is being held in partnership with Target and is focused on disruption in the retail industry.
Students, either individually or in teams of up to 4 students will have from November 8 – 18 to formulate a recommendation and ‘pitch’ their idea via a 3-5 minute video submission. Videos should be created using students smartphones, tablets or PCs. A panel of Deloitte and Target judges will select the top 3 entries. Throughout the Challenge students will be supported by current Deloitte consultants who are serving as dedicated School Liaisons.
Prizes
In addition to fun high-tech prizes like an iPad Air, Nike FuelBand and Roku 3 streaming media player for the top 3 teams, the winning team will receive an automatic invitation to Regional Blitz 2nd round interviews.
Eligibility
First year, full-time MBA students only. The teams will be made up of 4 students each.
