All Marshall graduate student organizations are required to have a staff and faculty liaison.

Primary and secondary staff liaisons are assigned to your organization. The primary staff liaison for umbrella, community outreach, diversity and affinity, and social and athletic organizations is a member of the MBA Program Office staff. The primary staff liaison for functional and industry career interest organizations is a member of the MBA Career Services staff. A list of staff liaisons can be found in the documents section of this site. Your staff liaison will guide you through administrative processes, support you in your event planning, and answer any questions you may have.

Each president is responsible for identifying a faculty liaison for their organization. The faculty liaison can act as a resource for you as you plan your activities for the year, and can help you brainstorm events and speakers. Faculty liaisons are a way to get faculty and students interacting outside of the classroom. Faculty liaisons can attend your events, particularly if you have any academically focused events. When approaching a faculty member with a request to be your group's advisor, you can let them know the time commitment is approximately five hours a semester.
