Rachel Feinberg

Rachel comes to Marshall from Chicago via New York via the entertainment industry. She did her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Hispanic Studies at Columbia University in NYC, then moved to LA to begin her career as an assistant in the lit department at Creative Artists Agency. From there, she found a home at Illumination Entertainment where she worked under Founder & CEO, Chris Meledandri, which cemented her passion for storytelling as well as the strategy behind growing a studio. As Story Coordinator, she managed a global, freelance team of storyboard artists for animated features including Secret Life of Pets and Despicable Me 3. Rachel has also worked at FX Networks (in current series) and Tongal (a startup in the digital video space, where she Executive Produced a 14-episode animated series). Rachel lives in Sawtelle Japantown so has become quite an expert in LA’s best ramen. She enjoys climbing, hiking, and watching horror movies.

Brittany Woods

Brittany Woods is a Transformation Strategy Consultant transitioning into strategy, business development and representation for talent within the entertainment industry. Currently, she is working as a Technology Strategy Consultant for Boston Consulting Group. Brittany has 4.5 years of consulting experience where she managed PMO teams for SAAS, RPA and various technology implementations for clients in Government, Finance and Energy. Brittany earned her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Supply Chain Management, in which she focused in procurement and negotiations, from Michigan State University. Born and raised in Detroit, Brittany comes to California from Atlanta and enjoys her time at beaches hosting bonfires. When she is not at the beach she is at the movie theater consuming all the movies she can and reviewing them on the podcast she co-hosts.

Tyler Orfao

Tyler Orfao is a strategy and analytics professional with an expansive background in entertainment. After attending Skidmore College, where he majored in Business and English, Tyler moved into marketing analytics at the software company, HubSpot. Acquiring knowledge in performance metrics and content creation strategy, Tyler then got the opportunity to work in applied analytics with Legendary Pictures. He led strategic direction for both Legendary Pictures movies and other entertainment companies like Sony Pictures and ABC looking to utilize proprietary analytics tools to inform audience and marketing activation insights. Tyler worked two years with Legendary when the Applied Analytics department of Legendary Pictures was then acquired by WarnerMedia, where the department would serve across the company's movie and television portfolio driving analytical recommendations around greenlighting, marketing activations, positioning, and performance projections analysis. Tyler was promoted to a Strategic Manager role, where he led an 8-person team to better identify, understand, reach, and persuade individual content consumers at scale for 14 WB theatrical releases that helped beat industry opening box office projections by an average 20%. Tyler came to USC Marshall to develop as a more holistic strategist in the industry he loves, and position himself as a competitive candidate for MBA-Type roles in the entertainment industry, specifically in content strategy, corporate strategy, or data analytics.

Banner is an entertainment and media industry professional who loves creative problem solving and strategy. He graduated from Bucknell University in 2014 with an English degree concentrating in Film & Media studies, and followed his passion for entertainment to the west coast to start his entertainment career at ICM Partners. After 4 years working in talent representation, Banner transitioned to a Business Affairs role at Netflix working on Original Series. At Marshall, Banner is developing himself into a “business Swiss Army knife” and continuing to explore the intersection between technology and entertainment. In his free time he loves playing hockey, skiing, and training his puppy, Enzo.

Rob Ferraioli

Rob is an emerging entertainment strategy professional with four years of consulting & financial services experience. He grew up on the east coast in beautiful New Jersey, and spent the last four years living in New York City. Most recently, he worked as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young advising some of the world's largest financial institutions on originating, structuring, and bringing CMBS (Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities) to market. Rob decided to pursue an MBA at Marshall to pivot into the entertainment industry and combine his love of film, TV, and all things content with his consulting & finance background. This summer, Rob will be working for Discovery on the Global DTC Strategy & Ops team. In his free time, he loves travelling, hockey, hanging out with his puppy Moira, and of course, watching & talking about movies & tv.

Serena Sogules

An LA native by way of Nigeria, Serena has always had a passion and reverence for the power that television holds in our society. Being First Generation American, she used Television to engage and understand American culture, through it birthing a desire to increase the diversity and authenticity in the stories that are told through the powerful medium. Serena has come to Marshall to expand her business acumen to complement her creative talent. Outside of BEA she serves as the VP of Community Relations for the Black Graduate Business Leaders Group. Alexis "Lexi" Mohr

Lexi graduated from Cornell University with a B.S in Business and Hospitality Management. Prior to joining USC Marshall, she worked as a financial analyst at Red Bull overseeing a $60+ million dollar sports and entertainment budget. Not only will Lexi be serving as Vice President of Sports of The Business of Entertainment Association (BEA), but will also be serving as Vice President of Academics of Marshall Graduate Student Association (MGSA), Vice President of Career Development of Marshall Consulting & Strategy Club, Vice President of Career of Jewish Association for Marshall Students (JAMS), and a Marshall Ambassador. This summer, Lexi will be interning at Electronic Arts in the Sports Strategy group. Outside of school, Lexi enjoys coaching soccer, playing sports, trying new restaurants, traveling, hiking, and hanging out with friends.

Ray Campos

Originally from the LA area, Ray received his undergraduate education at UNC-Chapel Hill where he studied Political Science and Public Relations. From there, he embarked on an 8-year career in the creative advertising industry providing strategic client services to experienced marketers at major healthcare and hospitality firms. After a career that took him across Southern California, San Francisco, and New York City, Ray decided to return to LA to attend the Full Time MBA program at USC Marshall and fulfill his new career interests in media & entertainment. While at Marshall, Ray has been focused on broadening his technical skill set and sharpening his knowledge of the entertainment industry. Post-Marshall, he plans to continue to service clients specifically in the media & entertainment sector as a management consultant. Ray’s a sports junkie, but he also loves watching movies and documentaries, spending time with his big puppy, drinking wine, and relaxing on the beach.

Joe Costa

VP, Recruitment & Career Development - Music

Joe was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA before attending Boston College where he studied Finance and Information Systems. He went on to work in NYC at PwC in their management consulting practice. He focused in financial services and asset wealth management and advised a wide range of clients in the CPG, Telecommunications, and Connected Fitness industries. While in NYC, he was also signed to Clear Talent Group, one of the country’s top commercial dance agencies. He had the pleasure of dancing for Ciara, Thalia, and even appeared on SNL behind Kate McKinnon. Joe came to Marshall to pivot from consulting and combine his passion for the arts and entertainment with his diverse business background. He is very quant heavy but is gaining more qualitative skills to position himself for marketing and strategy-type roles post MBA. Joe has a passion for music and loves to discover new up-and-coming artists. The year 2020 was difficult for music and live entertainment, but with the world coming back to some levels of normalcy, it is predicted that the industries will boom in the coming years so things are looking up! When Joe is not in class, he is taking dance classes in North Hollywood, producing dance videos, and discovering new restaurants in LA.

Chloe Ticknor

Chloe is a strategic partnerships and marketing professional with a background in the music industry. She graduated with degrees in Sociology and Public Relations from Tulane University in New Orleans, where she headed live concerts including two of the largest sold-out shows in the campus’s history. She spent 3 years working for Universal Music Group, coordinating marketing and promotional activations for artists such as Post Malone, the 1975, Lana Del Rey, and Childish Gambino. She went on to work in A&R for Verve Label Group (UMG), where she developed strategies for Verve’s artists and sourced emerging talent for the label. After graduating from Marshall, Chloe is interested in combining her passions to pursue a strategic or brand partnerships role at the intersection of entertainment, tech, and wellness. Beyond entertainment, she is passionate about empowering women and is currently serving as the President of Graduate Women in Business (GWiB). Chloe also loves taking on new hobbies- some of her favorite explorations have included pottery, glassblowing, VR, and gardening. Whether through discovering and developing artists, facilitating unique strategic partnerships, or creating life-changing events, her ultimate goal is to help people have more happy moments.

Annelie Tomasic

VP of Community & Events

Annelie Tomasic is a 3rd Year MBA.PM student and Manager of Production Operations at Therabody. Prior to USC Marshall, Annelie received her BFA at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and began her career at Nickelodeon as part of the production teams for Dora the Explorer, The FairlyOdd Parents and Nick’s internal agency, Nickelodeon Creative Advertising. Her interest in production and post-production operations led her to FOX Sports where she was part of three NFL seasons, including Super Bowl LI, as well as the 2016 and 2017 World Series. While Manager of Production and Programming at Legendary Entertainment for the digital brands Nerdist and Geek & Sundry, Annelie decided to pursue her MBA to bridge her creative and production experience with her interest in entertainment business strategy and studio operations. Annelie has always been passionate about books and great stories and in her free time she most likely has a book or an audiobook in her hands.

Martin is an emerging entertainment professional that is passionate about the intersection of media and technology. After graduating from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA with a degree in Finance, Martin moved to Austin, TX to begin his career as a financial analyst for an international beverage company. He later transitioned into corporate tax consulting roles at Ryan LLC and Duff & Phelps. Looking to pivot into business development and finance in the entertainment industry, Martin enrolled in the MBA program at USC Marshall and will be graduating in May 2022. A commonality in the responsibilities she’s had has been introducing innovative approaches that led to noticeable change. At Marshall, Darartu is looking to pivot into media and entertainment. Sam Hyman

VP Alumni Relations

Sam earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Davidson College in North Carolina, and then spent a year in federal banking regulation in New York. Tired of banking and the cold weather, he moved to LA to pursue a passion of his in TV and Film. He spent the last 6 years producing a variety of shows and movies, including Better Call Saul, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, Halt and Catch Fire and The Boys, among others. At Marshall, Sam is pivoting to learn more about corporate strategy with plans to move into an entertainment/media strategy role in the long term. He will be working as a Summer Associate with Deloitte this year. When not voraciously consuming TV/Film, he can be found hanging with his dog, surfing, or playing basketball.

Erin is an emerging entertainment marketing strategy professional with a background in consulting, marketing, and digital strategy. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Cornell University with a major in Business and Hospitality Administration and a minor in Information Science. Prior to pursuing her MBA at USC, she worked in consulting at IBM in NYC, working to identify and implement digital strategy initiatives for internal and external clients across a variety of industries. At Marshall, she is working to combine her experience in strategy with the desire to bring creative visions to life, and hopes to pursue a career in marketing or brand at the intersection of the entertainment, media, and technology industries. Peric Fang

Peric Fang moved to Los Angeles from China at the age of 17, completed his undergraduate degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Riverside in 2015 and master degree in Accounting from College of William & Mary in 2017. Prior to entering USC Marshall, he worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young for 3 years, specializing in industries including media & entertainment, technology and real estate. He started an online gallery in 2019 with passion for art, curated numerous virtual exhibitions and created social media marketing campaigns. At Marshall, Peric is looking to pivot into the entertainment/tech industry. He will be working as a Financial Analyst with Adobe this summer. Sofia Robers

VP of Finance

Sofia is an LA native and a triple Trojan. After graduating from USC with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Cinematic Arts and a Master’s in Accounting, Sofia completed her CPA and worked at PwC in their Capital Markets Advisory group where she facilitated multi-billion-companies, including Uber and Chewy, in raising capital through initial public offerings (IPOs) and private-debt offerings. Sofia has returned to Marshall to further expand her business acumen, strategic thinking, and financial analytical skills and with the hopes of pivoting into a strategic role within the entertainment industry sometime in the future. Outside of BEA, she serves as the VP of Community and Inclusion for the Marshall Consulting & Strategy Club. This summer, Sofia will be interning in PwC’s M&A Consulting practice within the TMT space. Outside of school, Sofia enjoys swimming, hiking, baking gluten-free and dairy desserts, and exploring LA.
