Kate van Keulen

President

Kate was born and raised in the Bay Area and attended Santa Clara University where she studied finance and communication. After she graduated, she moved to San Francisco and worked in corporate insurance where she managed large books of business and with global teams focusing on cyber insurance. In 2019, she pivoted into a cybersecurity program management role for a health/tech company where she managed engineers and project managers and worked on large scale technology integrations. After business school, Kate plans to return to the Technology industry in a product focused role and has aspirations to be an entrepreneur later in life. Kate is excited to serve as the MGSA president and is committed to creating an inclusive and collaborative community at Marshall.

Kabir Sarjan

VP of Academics

Kabir was born in New Delhi, India, and grew up in Hong Kong. He moved to the US to pursue an undergraduate degree in Economics at Carleton College. After graduating, Kabir began his career in economic consulting at EY. After over 5 years at EY, Kabir had a short stint at a cybersecurity company before starting his MBA at Marshall. After business school, Kabir plans to pursue a career in strategy consulting. As the VP of Academics, Kabir looks forward to the chance to serve his classmates and work to improve the Marshall academic experience. Outside of class, Kabir is an avid golfer and rock climber who loves the outdoors.

Jay Min

VP of Career Development

Jay is a highly experienced international professional, having been born in China and lived in Denmark, the UK and the US. Prior to attending USC Marshall, he gained a wealth of knowledge from the finance sector, ranging from corporate finance to fintech strategy to nonprofit finance. Through the Marshall MBA experience, he is eager to pivot to a strategy-focused role within the consulting industry. As MGSA’s VP of Career Development, Jay is passionate about helping students uncover their professional aspirations and, in collaboration with career and affinity clubs, is eager to assist students in maximizing their career potentials. Outside of the classroom, Jay is an avid enthusiast of credit card rewards, and loves taking free trips and sampling world-class hotels using points.

Kriti Mishra

Co-VP of Community

Kriti was born in Chandigarh, India, and grew up in Singapore and New York. She studied electrical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Upstate NY. Prior to Marshall, Kriti worked at AMD as a Product Development Engineer within the Test Engineering department. After business school, Kriti plans to return to the technology industry in a product management role. Kriti is excited to serve as the Co-VP of Community for MGSA to better serve the Marshall community and promote an inclusive environment.

Danielle Miller

Co-VP of Community

Danielle was born and raised in New York and attended Union College, where she studied Neuroscience. After graduating, she moved to New York City and worked at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she managed large-scale breast oncology pharmaceutical trials. In 2020, she pivoted her career and began working at a technology start-up company called StoryFile. Danielle was one of the first employees at StoryFile. During her time there, she helped launch multiple products and grow the company to over 50 employees. After business school, Danielle plans to go into consulting. Danielle is excited to serve as a Co-VP of Community for MGSA to build the Marshall community and help everyone find their home with the Trojan family!

Samyak Shamkuwar

VP of Diversity & Inclusion

Samyak graduated with an engineering degree in IT from VJTI, Mumbai. Pursuing a passion for Japan, he moved to Tokyo. He spent seven years bridging technology and business, with a career in engineering, product management and consulting that spanned Japan, the US and India. His last stint pre-MBA was at Deloitte in digital and cybersecurity consulting. Samyak is excited to serve as the VP of Diversity and Inclusion and is passionate in promoting an inclusive and diverse environment at Marshall. In his free time, he enjoys reading The Economist and Nikkei for fun and is a trained Indian classical vocalist.

Justin Gooch

VP of Finance

Justin was born in Missouri but grew up just outside of Zion National Park in St. George, Utah. Prior to attending USC Marshall, Justin earned a BS in finance from Brigham Young University and spent four years in Big 4 risk consulting and fintech. Most recently, he worked as a program manager at a fintech bank, providing funding solutions to commercial and consumer borrowers through partnerships with some of the world’s largest fintech companies. Post-MBA, Justin hopes to return to consulting with a focus on strategy and M&A. As VP of Finance, Justin is thrilled to assist students and club leaders in making the most of available monetary resources while ensuring that Marshall's funds flow seamlessly through the system. Outside of school, Justin spends his time playing golf and pickleball and exploring LA’s vibrant food scene.

Sreya Chakrabarty

VP of Marketing & Alumni Relations

Sreya was born and raised in Houston, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her BBA in Finance. Most recently, Sreya worked as a Senior Finance Analyst at Intel Corporation. During her time at USC, Sreya intends to continue her career within the technology industry. As the VP of Marketing and Alumni relations, Sreya is excited to promote the student voice to shape the Marshall brand and be involved with alumni networking initiatives.

Peter Romagnano

VP of Technology

Peter Romagnano was born and raised in Orange County, California where he attended Cal State University Fullerton and studied mechanical engineering. After he graduated, he began working in the aerospace industry as a product sustaining engineer. In 2018, he pivoted to medical devices and worked as a product research and development engineer.. After business school, Peter plans to work in the technology sector as a Technical Product Manager. As the VP of Technology, Peter is eager to improve the digital experience of students at Marshall. Outside the classroom, Peter loves the outdoors and enjoys camping and backpacking.

Arzoo Anand

VP of International Student Relations

Arzoo was born and raised in India. She is a passionate sports person but after breaking a few bones, she shifted gears towards being an avid spectator of outdoor sports. On the academic side, she did her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and worked across different areas of marketing to find her footing in the niche consumer durables industry. Before moving to the U.S., Arzoo worked across the length and breadth of luxury interior product companies, ranging from a startup to a leading global furniture brand, in various brand management and marketing roles. While she loved being on the creative side of positioning businesses, Arzoo felt the need to polish her business acumen and explore her love for numbers which got her to Marshall. As the VP of International Relations, Arzoo intends to enhance the international student experience at Marshall by facilitating greater engagement amongst international and domestic students to promote cultural integration and foster the spirit of OneMarshall.
