Charles "sprinted" us through a day in the life of a Scrum Master and a two-week scrum sprint cycle! Specifically, Charles covered Agile/Scrum important topics including: Agile Framework, Scaled Agile, Scrum Roles, Agile Methodology, and Sprint Reports

The Alumni also offered insight and best practices on how best to apply to Tesla and other companies for internships.

For our first event of the Spring semester, we had Patrick Noonan from the Apparel & Fashion industry leader SanMar. Patrick is involved in all aspects of product design, development, and global supply chain across 21 countries, responsible for SanMar's two international sourcing offices in Hong Kong and Honduras, and oversees a global staff of 120 employees. SanMar is an award-winning supplier of over 20 retail and private brands of imprintable apparel and accessories, including Port Authority, America's No. 1 preferred private label. SanMar is the exclusive distributor of Nike Golf, The North Face, Carhartt, Eddie Bauer, OGIO, and New Era. SanMar is based outside Seattle, WA, with eight national distribution centers employing a total of 4,000 people in the United States.

For the second installment of the Global Supply Chain Club's Alumni Talks, we had Eric Chow, USC MBA alum, describe his career and experience in creating international partnerships to develop the workforce of the future to enable the digital transformation of companies and organizations. Prior to his relocation to Southeast Asia, Eric had managed international business projects and corporate outreach for the University of Southern California during a 17-year tenure. He was Associate Director of Center for Global Supply Chain Management from 2015-18 at the USC Marshall School of Business where he collaborated with industry and government leaders to develop thought leadership, educational excellence, and applied research for students and professionals.
