President
Hector is a third-year MBAPM student with more than 11 years of experience in higher education, leadership development, and student engagement. His career has spanned USC, UCLA, and Loyola University Chicago, with experience in staff supervision and training, recruitment, crisis response, and large-scale programming. He currently serves as a Residential Community Coordinator at USC and as a Consultant with Fisheye Learning, where he designs and facilitates workshops focused on leadership, supervision, communication, change management, and team development for corporate and non-profit organizations.
At USC Marshall, Hector serves as VP of Admissions for Marshall Pride and is working toward certificates in Product Management, Marketing, and AI in Business. As President of the Marshall Graduate Student Association, Professionals & Managers (MGSAPM), he hopes to strengthen community across all three years of the program, create more opportunities for students to connect professionally and socially, and continue building an organization that adds value to the MBAPM experience.
Outside of work and school, Hector enjoys traveling, live entertainment, improv comedy, and finding new ways to bring people together. He is always happy to connect over coffee, at an MGSAPM event, or around campus.
VP of Academics
VP of Finance
Jin is a third-year MBAPM student and serves as VP of Finance for MBAPM. In this role, Jin oversees the club's annual budget and forecast, manages the general ledger and cash position, and works closely with the E-board to make sure every event and merch sale is financially self-sustaining — covering its own costs so the club can leave a stronger fund for the next board. She built the club's full budgeting infrastructure, including pre-approval processes, finance guidelines, and reporting tools the E-board uses at monthly meetings.
Outside of USC, Jin is a CPA and Senior Manager of Global Internal Audit at Yamaha Motor Co., where she is building the Global Internal Audit Department from the ground up following a 2024 corporate reorganization, with a footprint spanning the U.S., Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and France.
Outside of work and school, Jin enjoys reading, singing, going to concerts, and watching baseball games. She's always curious about the world and loves trying new things, whether that's a new hobby, a new place, or a new perspective. She's happy to connect over coffee, at an MGSAPM event, or around campus.
VP of Culture & Chief of Staff
James Yu is a third-year MBAPM student and serves as VP of Culture and Chief of Staff for MGSAPM. In this role, James is focused on strengthening the sense of community across the MBAPM program and creating opportunities for students to build meaningful relationships beyond the classroom. He works closely with the MGSAPM leadership team to support student programming, improve coordination across initiatives, and help foster an inclusive and connected Marshall experience.
Outside of USC, James is a Management Analyst with the LA Department of Water and Power, where he works on strategic partnerships, community investment, and engagement initiatives. He also serves as the Chapter President of Project by Project Los Angeles, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing leaders and supporting the Asian American and Pacific Islander community through philanthropy and community engagement.
As he enters his third year at Marshall, James hopes to help strengthen connections not only within MBAPM, but across Marshall’s broader graduate community. He is especially passionate about building a culture where students across programs, cohorts, and professional backgrounds can connect, collaborate, and make the most of their time at USC.

Co-VP of Events
Ryan is a second-year MBAPM student with nearly ten years of experience spanning technical and leadership positions in the defense industry. His career has included work for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, and intelligence community serving as an engineer and program leader first as a federal employee, eventually becoming a technical direction agent at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. Currently, he serves as a Staff Technical Program Manager at Anduril Industries in the Air Dominance and Strike Division, where he leads fifteen different products across air, sea, space, and land domains.
At USC Marshall, Ryan also serves as Co-VP of Events on the Marshall Graduate Student Association, Professionals & Managers (MGSAPM) board, where he helps lead large-group activities including weekend retreats, professional development opportunities, and networking within and beyond USC. He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from USC Viterbi, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
Beyond work and school, Ryan is active in numerous sports ranging from surfing, snowboarding, golfing, and rowing (former D1 rower), and somehow ends up doing miscellaneous weird nerdy things like astrophotography! He’s always happy to meet new people, explore new concepts, and help wherever possible!

Sierra is a third-year MBAPM student and Product Manager at The Walt Disney Company, where she works on the Technology Strategy team focused on vendor management, owning internal product platforms used across the organization. Her career has spanned finance, operations, and product management, and she is now pursuing a certificate in Risk Management as she works toward a pivot into risk, targeting opportunities in financial services, fintech, or healthcare after graduation.
At USC Marshall, Sierra serves as Co-VP of Marketing & Communications for MGSAPM, where she keeps students connected to program news through the newsletter and promotes MGSAPM and the broader MBAPM community across social channels. She also serves as VP of Community and Events for BGBL and GWiB, bringing people together beyond the MBAPM program.
Outside of work and school, you can find Sierra on the tennis court, cheering in the stands at NFL, WNBA, and college football or basketball games, or off exploring somewhere new.
Co-VP of Marketing & Communications
Ivy is a second-year MBAPM student with a background in higher education administration and research operations. She currently works as a Project Specialist in Research Data Operations at USC Keck School of Medicine's Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute, where she manages federally funded neuroscience research projects across global collaboration sites, overseeing data platform support, compliance documentation, and stakeholder communications. Prior to this role, she held administrative and operations positions at UC Irvine, where she developed a strong foundation in process improvement and cross-functional coordination.
At USC Marshall, Ivy is pursuing graduate certificates in Product Management and Strategy and in Management Consulting, and is working toward a career trajectory from project coordination to program management and eventually director or center-level leadership in healthcare administration.
Outside of work and school, Ivy enjoys traveling, exploring cafes, and following soccer, cheering on France. She has studied abroad in the Netherlands and South Korea and enjoys discovering new areas.
Co-VP of Merchandising
Mandy has a clothing brand, Cold Soup, that is raising awareness about children in the foster care system. Mandy has been volunteering with children in the foster care system for about 10 years and her goal is to show people that there is hope for these children is we all decide to help. Mandy also produces high quality, private label merchandise for companies in all industries. Every piece is made in Los Angeles because she believes in supporting local businesses.
Aside from Mandy’s passion projects, she is a 3rd year MBA student, works in real estate development and supports various businesses in different industries with partnerships and recruiting talent.

Kyle is a second-year MBAPM student with a background in construction project management, operations, estimating, and client engagement. Currently, he serves as a Project Executive for Left Coast Electric, working across project delivery, business operations, and client relationships. Before beginning his MBA, Kyle spent more than a decade teaching martial arts, an experience that shaped his approach to leadership, communication, and helping others succeed.
At USC Marshall, Kyle previously served as VP of Events and now serves as Co-VP of Merchandise for MGSAPM, continuing his involvement in building community across the MBAPM program. He is excited to create merchandise that students are genuinely proud to wear while strengthening a shared sense of identity across the program. Alongside his MBA, Kyle is pursuing graduate certificates in Strategy and Management Consulting and AI in Business, with the goal of transitioning into consulting and exploring strategy, transformation, M&A, and emerging technologies.
Outside of work and school, Kyle enjoys staying active, strategy games, live music, exploring new restaurants, and trying new things. Hilary is a second-year MBAPM student with experience spanning clinical practice, higher education, and program leadership. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy at USC, where she teaches and mentors future healthcare professionals while continuing to practice as a physical therapist. Her work spans clinical care, education, research, and program development.
Building on her healthcare background, Hilary is working toward certificates in Strategy & Management Consulting and AI in Business, with a career goal of moving into healthcare consulting. As Co-VP of New Student Development alongside Lauren Woo, she helps welcome and onboard incoming students into the MBAPM and broader USC community, builds connections across cohorts through the Ambassador and Mentorship Programs, and supports recruitment of the next MBAPM class. She is passionate about creating the same sense of community and welcoming environment that has made her own USC experience so meaningful.
Hilary's appreciation for teamwork and shared experiences also shapes how she spends her time outside of work and school. She enjoys watching sports and staying active. As a former collegiate athlete, she values the teamwork and community she found through sports. Today, that spirit shows up in the classroom, in her work with MGSAPM, and in the stands cheering on the Trojans.

Nikita is a second-year MBAPM student with a background in marketing, startups, and entrepreneurship. Through her marketing agency, Bold Digital Studio, she works with businesses across wellness, fitness, healthcare, and other service-based industries on marketing strategy, social media, paid advertising, email marketing, partnerships, and growth. Prior to launching her agency, she worked at startups where she gained experience in fast-paced, early-stage environments and cross-functional growth initiatives.
At USC Marshall, Nikita serves as Co-VP of Philanthropy for MGSAPM, where she helps plan events and fundraising initiatives that bring students together while supporting local organizations and causes. She is excited to continue building stronger connections across the MBAPM community and creating opportunities for students to give back while also having fun and getting to know one another outside of the classroom.
Outside of work and school, Nikita is also a certified Pilates instructor and enjoys fitness, wellness, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Lakshya is a third-year MBAPM student and the VP of Professional Development for the program, also serving as VP of Career Development for the Marshall Consulting and Strategy Club. Before Marshall, he built his career in SaaS engineering and sales – experience that gave him a grounded, cross-functional lens on business. Through his MBA, he pursued a pivot into consulting, culminating in an internship with Deloitte's M&A practice this past summer, where he worked on deal strategy and integration.
Having made that leap himself, Lakshya is passionate about helping fellow students navigate their own career transitions, wherever they're headed. He believes some of the most valuable growth happens outside the classroom – through real conversations, shared experiences, and genuine relationships across cohorts and with alumni. As VP of Professional Development, he's focused on building more of those connections: creating experiential ways for students to network, learn from one another, and feel supported at every stage of their journey at Marshall.
