Yiqin
Xu

VP of Communications & Finance

Yiqin (Roger) Xu M.D. is a healthcare professional with experience in clinical medicine, research and biopharma. Currently, he is attending USC Marshall Full Time MBA program with the intent to build on his industry experience to impact the healthcare technology and digital health space. Roger received his Bachelors of Science from UC San Diego and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College in New York.
Prior to business school Roger worked as a Medical Advisor at Tilray. He collaborated closely with healthcare authorities and key opinion leaders in the E.U, Australia/New Zealand and Latin America to safely expand the use of cannabinoid medicines for treatment of pediatric refractory epilepsy and oncologic pain disorders. Roger will be interning at Boston Scientific in their Deep Brain Stimulator business over the summer.
In his spare time, Roger enjoys golf, running and exploring the Los Angeles food scene with friends and family.

Jon
Lloyd

VP of Case Preparation

Born and raised in Houston, TX, Jon graduated from University of Houston-Downtown and majored in Finance. Following his graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to work for Nike in operations and labor optimization. During his time at Nike, he led pilot implementation, growth strategy execution, and multiple new store openings and closures in California. He also sits on the board of a local non-profit theater and leads their finance planning. This summer, Jon will be interning at EY-Parthenon in their LA office, and next year will be VP of Case Prep for Marshall Consulting & Strategy Club, VP of Events for Marshall Interactive Gaming Association, VP of Junior Achievement for Challenge for Charity, and a Marshall Leadership Fellow. In his free time, Jon enjoys running, playing music, gaming, trying new restaurants with his wife, and spending time or traveling with friends and family.

Jivan
Gandhi

VP of Case Preparation

Originally from New York, Jivan studied Music at the University of Chicago, focusing on film scoring and soundtracks. After graduation, and following a love of fashion and retail, he started at Coach, first in store allocation and then moving to buying and sales planning for the full-price North American men’s business. In addition to serving on the board of MCSC for ’22-23, Jivan will also be President of the eCommerce & Retail club (MERA) and involved with the Marshall Leadership Fellows Program (MLFP). His other interests include writing/playing/listening to music, cooking, trying new restaurants, and going to museums.

Sarah
Kim

VP of Career Development & Education

Sarah is a people expert with nearly a decade of experience in talent strategy, organization transformation, and change programs. She has specialized in launching employee engagement initiatives from designing the infrastructure to implementing the project at the firmwide level. Her past experience also includes project managing the rollout of the firm’s talent management system. She has spent the last five years working at mid-sized public accounting firms, and prior to that, she was at a technology and online media company. This summer, Sarah will be interning at Deloitte in the Human Capital consulting practice group.

Di (Judy)
Zhu

VP of Partnerships & Inclusion

Growing up in a coastal city in China, Judy has always been enamored by the dream of “exploring the world”. After graduation with a major in Global Trade from Zhejiang University, she embarked on her journey and landed on the west coast where she obtained her master’s degree in international management from UC San Diego. Upon graduation, she moved to Los Angeles and worked in merchandising operation, and project management at an Asian Grocery distributor and retailer where she built her knowledge in business. She was later promoted to spearhead a $40M joint venture project and took on the responsibility to run the entire business operation for the company’s North America division. This summer Judy will be interning at EY Parthenon in the Los Angeles office and next year will be a VP of Inclusion and Partnerships for MCSC. In her free time, Judy enjoys playing golf, riding her Peloton, trying different wines and restaurants, spending time with friends, and playing with her dog.

Shikhar
Atri

VP of Partnerships & Inclusion

Shikhar is originally from India. He graduated from BIT MESRA, Ranchi with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science. He started his career with Samsung as an android application developer. Prior to joining USC, Shikhar worked 5 years in financial sector, 2 years from Bangalore and 3 years in London, leading digital transformation journey for a banking client. After his stint in London, he moved back to India to join a microcredit firm promoting women entrepreneurs in rural India. He will be interning with EY-Finance at the LA office this summer. Outside of school, Shikhar is passionate about soccer and formula 1, loves travelling to new countries and exploring new cultures.

Elsa
Abedi

VP of Internal Relations

Elsa received her bachelor's degree in Business from Cal Poly Pomona, where she focused on project work in the aerospace and manufacturing sector. During her undergraduate years, she took part in various internships in non-profit organizations and start-ups, where she mainly held positions in business development and marketing. After graduation, she pursued a career in aerospace manufacturing, where she worked as a Human Resources Specialist and SOX Analyst. After gaining a few years of experience in the position, she transitioned into a Supply Chain role, in which she led cost reduction initiatives and was involved in an ERP implementation roll-out. After gaining experience in the aerospace industry, Elsa pivoted to digital transformation consulting for a tech start-up, followed by working as a Human Resources Consultant for a non-profit organization. Elsa will be joining Deloitte’s Human Capital team as a Summer Associate. She will also be the Co-VP of Internal Relations for MCSC and Co-VP of Student Development for the MBA.PM program. Elsa prioritizes health and fitness, and travels as much as she can in her free time.

Mutahhar
Sajjad

VP of Events

Mutahhar "Mu" was born and raised nearby in Orange County. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics and started his career in consulting at Mercer in Irvine, focusing on health and benefits for employers. Then he continued his career in healthcare and transitioned to data and financial analysis at DaVita in LA. After two years, he joined the world headquarters in Denver as a strategy manager where he focused on building out a new team and leading a new strategic initiative for the company. He will be interning at DocuSign as a Strategic Partnerships Manager.

Ashlee
Pham

VP of Events

An LA native, Ashlee graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2013 with a B.A in English (Go Gauchos)! She has held Marketing and Product Management roles within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry over the last 9 years, launching thousands of products for large retail clients such as WalMart and Target. From managing fitness equipment to mobile device accessories, Ashlee has a passion for innovative product design, building a more sustainable future, and discovering ways to enhance consumer experiences. At Marshall, Ashlee has held several leadership roles within MGSA.PM: VP of Events (Core A), VP of New Student Development, and for her final year, will be President of the PM program. She was also the AVP of Events for MCSC and looks forward to planning and executing fun events as the VP of Events for the upcoming year! This summer, Ashlee will be interning at Deloitte Consulting and is aligned to the Customer & Marketing practice. Outside of work and school, Ashlee loves hiking at National Parks, taking CorePower Yoga sculpt classes, and hanging out with her dog Matcha & cat Earl Grey.

Roxie Cheng
Zhang

VP of Events

Roxie Zhang graduated from Huaqiao University (China) in 2011 with a B.A. in Education and from USC Rossier School of Education in 2015 with an M.A degree. Before joining the USC Marshall FTMBA program, she worked as an International Marketing Director at a multinational company managing K-12 private schools in LA. Roxie will hold leadership VP positions at Marshall Consulting & Strategy Club (MCSC), Marshall Pride, and Challenge for Charity (C4C) during her second year at Marshall. This summer, she will take on the CEO role of an EduTech startup. When not in school, Roxie enjoys hosting social events, archery practice, and road trips.
