Niki Miyashiro graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. Prior to Marshall, she worked as a Business Management Associate for JPMorgan Chase in New York. She is part of the full-time MBA program at USC Marshall, where she is pursuing a career pivot into investment banking. This summer, she will be working in LA as a Summer Associate for Credit Suisse, focusing on financial sponsors, real estate, gaming and lodging. In her spare time she enjoys running, traveling, skiing, and trying new restaurants.

Taylor Ferguson graduated from James Madison University in 2012 on an ROTC scholarship with a B.S. in Healthcare Administration and a minor in Business Administration. After college, Taylor spent six years in the Army as an airborne infantry officer where he planned and led operations in Kuwait and Syria. After the Army, he worked at CBRE where he forecasted property performance, managed projects, and performed asset underwriting for new acquisitions. Taylor first became interested in investing after reading Warren Buffet’s biography, “The Snowball”, and has since realized a passion for value investing. This summer he will be working for Citigroup as an investment banking associate on the Consumer/Retail team. In his spare time, Taylor enjoys hiking with his wife Sabrina and their two dogs, Buckley and Zeus.

Joe Morris graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He has spent most of his career in Business Advisory, primarily focused on operational process reviews, data analytics, and post-deal implementation at both Grant Thornton and BDO. He is now part of the full-time MBA program at USC Marshall, where he is looking to pivot into Investment Banking. This summer, he will be working in LA as a Summer Associate at Lincoln International, a middle-market global investment banking firm. Also, Joe enjoys basketball, weight training, and futures trading.

Hailey Waller graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 with a B.A. in business journalism. She went on to work at Bloomberg News in New York City as a television producer, and later, as a reporter. This summer she will be working for Morgan Stanley as an investment banking associate. In her free time, you can find her running with AirPods and listening to her favorite sports podcasts.

Ben West graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Following his undergraduate education, Ben remained in the Chicagoland area and joined BMO (The Bank of Montreal) as an analyst in their fixed-income department. During his tenure at the firm, Ben furthered his professional education by becoming a CFA Charterholder and Licensed CPA. Prior to attending business school at USC Marshall, he most recently worked as an associate in BMO’s Private Debt group, where he managed a portfolio of middle-market loans made to private equity portfolio companies. As a second-year student in the full-time MBA Program, Ben is pursuing a career in Investment Banking. Over the summer, he will be working in Houlihan Lokey’s Los Angeles office as an Investment Banking Associate within their Financial Restructuring Group. In his free time, Ben enjoys lifting weights, playing golf, hiking, and closely following the NFL & sport of mixed martial arts.

Robbie Rexford graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Finance and minor in Economics. After graduating, he worked at Deloitte for several years in Houston, within their Transfer Pricing department. In this role he valued intercompany transactions for tax planning purposes. Robbie is a part of the full-time MBA program at USC and will be working at Goldman Sachs in their private bank this Summer. He enjoys surfing, traveling, and visiting museums in his free time.

Anchit Mathur graduated from Santa Clara University with a major in Finance. He spent over four years in corporate finance at Yahoo!, working in FP&A and product finance, where he collaborated with sales and product teams to set annual budgets and analyze revenue trends. He is part of the FT MBA program at USC Marshall, where he is looking to develop his leadership and strategic thinking capabilities, in order to return to a corporate finance role after graduation. This summer he will be working in the corporate finance team at Hewlett Packard Enterprises. In his spare time, Anchit enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring the automotive, technology, and watch industries.

Bowen Rao graduated from UCLA with a degree in Business Economics and is a CPA. He has spent most of his career in accounting and transaction advisory services where he worked on public company audits and financial due diligence in M&A. He is part of the full-time MBA program at USC Marshall, where he is pursuing a career pivot into investment banking. This summer, Bowen will be working at Barclays in Menlo Park as a Summer Associate in their technology group. In his spare time, he enjoys playing table tennis, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.

Ericson Shi graduated from Boston University in 2012 with a B.S. in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and International Management. Prior to attending USC Marshall, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the Fund Services department. In his spare time, he loves to travel, play poker, root for the Lakers, and try new cuisines.

Lauren Butler graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Sports Media Studies. After graduation she moved to Salt Lake City for a position with Goldman Sachs doing mutual fund valuation. After four years, Lauren returned to USC for the full-time MBA program to pursue a career change into investment banking. This summer she will be joining the Consumer team at Piper Sandler in their San Francisco office. Lauren enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors; so when she’s not working, you can find her hiking, mountain biking, or skiing.

Simon Placik graduated from UC Riverside with a degree in Economics and a concentration in Finance. After graduating college, he spent 3 years in Credit Risk Advisory at a local financial institutions consulting firm. Simon is currently attending the full-time MBA program at USC and is pursuing a transition into investment banking. He will working as an Investment Banking Summer Associate for FT Partners in their San Francisco office. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and watching Netflix.

Andrew Pierson graduated from the University of Connecticut Honors School with B.A. degrees in Applied Mathematics and Economics. Over the past five years, he has worked in Interest Rate Derivatives Sales at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Citadel Securities, where he was responsible for providing fixed income trading advice to institutional clients across North America. He is currently in the full-time MBA program at USC Marshall and is pursuing a career in investment management. This summer, he will be working as a Distressed Credit Intern at Invesco Credit Partners. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, traveling, running, and exploring the LA food scene with his fiancée.

Leia Kil graduated from UC San Diego with a B.A. in Human Development. She spent the last five years of her career in asset management, in both relationship management and institutional business development capacities. She is part of the full-time MBA program at USC Marshall, where she is looking to grow her financial technical skillset to further her career in financial services. This summer, she will be working as an Account Manager intern at PIMCO, the leading active fixed income asset manager in the U.S.

Ian Heath graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He most recently worked for Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas, NV. During his time at Caesars, Ian worked on M&A, hospitality development, corporate FP&A, and property analytics. He is attending USC Marshall as a full-time MBA where he is pursuing a career in investment banking. This summer, he will be working as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Bank of America. Outside of work, Ian pursues outdoor/physical activities including distance running, snowboarding, golf, and intramural sports.

John McAndrew III graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2017 with a B.A. in History and a minors in Business Administration and Leadership Studies. Prior to attending USC Marshall, he was at Capital Group where he most recently worked as a Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst, partnering with trading and portfolio management in portfolio construction and oversight. This summer, he will be working at Bank of America as an Investment Banking Summer Associate within their Financial Institutions coverage group. John is also a fixed income portfolio manager for the Student Investment Fund. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, playing sports, and spending time with family.
