opportunities initiated by students

Students who become aware of competitions not slated to be supported by the MBCP / Full-Time MBA Program Office may submit all relevant competition information to Marshall Business Competition Program (MBCP) or to MBCP's co-directors Jason Yang or Max Schurz for review for consideration.

  • Information must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the team registration deadline.
  • A written justification from the student as to why the MBCP should support the competition can be submitted in addition to the competition information.
  • It is at the MBCP's discretion whether to support the case competition. A decision will be communicated to the student(s) by email at least 3 days prior to the registration deadline so that the student(s) may make an informed decision as to whether participating in the competition will be financially feasible for them before committing to the competition.
  • The competition may be announced to the MBCP membership and a formal team member application process may be required.
  • If the Program Office decides to support the competition, all participation policies apply.
