AVP of Marketing & Communications

Kevin is a passionate gamer and creative professional with a background in product management and marketing, particularly in the gaming industry. Currently pursuing an MBA at USC Marshall, Kevin strives to bridge the gap between player satisfaction and business success by combining consumer insights with data-informed business strategies. Originally from Taiwan, his long-term vision is to integrate the island’s unique culture into gaming, blending its rich heritage with immersive, storytelling-driven experiences for global audiences. Beyond his professional roles, Kevin is also an experienced content creator, producing virtual YouTuber and streamer-focused content that showcases his creativity and dedication to engaging diverse audiences.

Jon May

AVP Partnerships & Belonging

Jon is an Atlanta native and a graduate of Florida A&M University, majoring in business administration with a concentration in marketing. Before attending the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, he worked as an Account Executive at Wieden + Kennedy and an Account Manager at Google. Jon is also a previous graduate of The New School where he received a master’s in Media Studies. Jon also previously served as an Emergency Manager in the Air Force and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. With his diverse background in marketing, media, and the military, Jon is passionate about producing unique stories for underrepresented groups and that is what drew him to want to serve as the AVP of Partnerships and Belonging in MIGA. In his free time, Jon enjoys gaming (open-world adventure), biking, and exploring the latest trends in comic books and manga.

Maryam Allam

AVP of Technology

With roots in Chicago and a childhood spent in Egypt, Maryam brings a unique global perspective to her role as a full-time MBA student at USC Marshall School of Business. Prior to her MBA journey, she studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and built a diverse professional background in technology and business, holding significant roles at Kyndryl and IBM where she excelled in partnership management, market development, and engineering sales. At Marshall, she serves as the AVP of Technology in the Marshall Interactive Gaming Association, combining her technical expertise with her passion for gaming. Maryam's gaming interests span from classic Game Boy Color Pokémon Gold + PlayStation 2 titles like Kingdom Hearts, and Psychonauts to modern RPGs on the Nintendo Switch, including favorites such as The Witcher 3, The Legend of Zelda, and Fire Emblem. Moe Aoki

AVP of Career Development

Having experience living in Japan and California, Moe is passionate about video games as they performed a bridge to build new friends in various countries; she sees potential in the video gaming industry to connect people globally. Before Marshall, utilizing her interest in the global gaming market and her passion for helping others, she worked in Human Resources as a recruiter and educator for the new graduates at SEGA of Japan. At Marshall, she serves as the AVP of Career Development for the Marshall Interactive Gaming Association, reaching out to various companies in video game industries to maximize opportunities for the Marshall students to deepen their knowledge and widen their network within the industry. Moe envisions a future where the gaming industry not only entertains but also serves as a platform for global connection and understanding. Outside academics, Moe loves various types of entertainment, including animes, mangas, theme parks, and theatrical plays, and is open to exploring other forms of entertainment.

Mohit Parashar

AVP of Career Development

Mohit is a first-year MBA student at the USC Marshall School of Business and serves as the AVP of Career Development for the Marshall Interactive Gaming Association (MIGA). Originally from India, Mohit began his professional journey with a degree in civil engineering but quickly transitioned into business and data analytics. He has worked across diverse industries, including healthcare, retail, and hospitality, where he specialized in operations, strategy, and customer analytics. A lifelong gamer, Mohit played Call of Duty competitively during his college years and remains an avid fan of FIFA. He also holds impressive achievements in mobile games such as Amazing Bricks, with a record of 600 points, and Duet, completed in under 21 minutes. Beyond gaming, he is a passionate chess enthusiast and a former collegiate soccer player who led his team to multiple gold-medal victories and a city championship.

At Marshall, Mohit is focused on pursuing product management roles in the gaming industry, with a particular interest in post-production and live games. Through his role at MIGA, he aims to foster meaningful connections between students and industry professionals while inspiring others to explore careers in gaming.

Richard (Ricky) Garcia

AVP of Community Engagement

Born and raised in Santa Monica, CA. Acquired a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2020 and is now a candidate for the MD/MBA Dual-degree from USC Keck School of Medicine and the Marshall School of Business. He brings a unique perspective and problem-solving mindset that is fueled by his strong analytical skills. At Marshall, Ricky serves as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Community Engagement for the Marshall Interactive Gaming Association (MIGA), where he coordinates social events and fosters a sense of community among students and industry professionals. He is passionate about creating communal support for members of the Marshall gaming community. Outside of academics, Ricky is an avid tabletop and video game player, ranging from Magic the Gathering to Pokémon and Overwatch.

Cesar D. Campos

AVP of Community Engagement

Cesar is a first-year MBA student in the full-time program at USC Marshall. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he is thrilled to be returning home after a six-year stint in New York City. He is a lifelong gamer with a particular love for story-driven RPGs and fast-paced FPS games. Cesar studied Economics at UCLA and has eight years of experience working in finance. As a member of MIGA, Cesar serves as one of the AVPs of Community Engagement, focusing on fostering connections between gaming enthusiasts and industry professionals. He is dedicated to organizing events that inspire students to explore gaming as a hobby and as a career. Outside of class and gaming, he enjoys tinkering with his PC, playing guitar, and mixed martial arts.

Brent Holtz

AVP of External Relations

A lifelong Angeleno and proud double Trojan, Brent is a full-time MBA candidate at USC Marshall School of Business. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude, and as a current MBA candidate, Brent has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and leadership. Before pursuing his MBA, Brent honed his skills in sales operations and client management at United Talent Agency, where he led cross-functional teams and optimized operational processes for music tours and esports clients. At Marshall, Brent is the AVP of External Relations for the Marshall Interactive Gaming Association. He is passionate about fostering connections between students and industry professionals in gaming and entertainment. Outside of academics and work, Brent enjoys diving into League of Legends, exploring global fashion trends, and traveling to experience new cultures and cuisines. His unique blend of creativity, analytical expertise, and entrepreneurial drive makes him a dynamic contributor to any team.
