President of MIGA
Tyler is an MBA student at USC Marshall pursuing finance and product management roles in both the entertainment and interactive entertainment industries.
Tyler’s earliest memories with video games were when he would play Star Wars: Battlefront 2 on the Playstation 2 with his friends, and Battlefield 2 and Diablo 2 with his dad. His favorite franchise remains the Battlefield Franchise to this day.
Tyler started his professional career in the United States Navy as an Enlisted nuclear reactor operator for several years. Once he had completed his contract with the Navy, he attended California State University, Fullerton, where he received his Undergraduate degree in Business Administration. While attending college, Tyler worked in the commercial real estate industry as an industrial real estate development consultant, but found that there were other opportunities that he wanted the opportunity to pursue- namely opportunities in the entertainment and gaming industries, where he could help contribute to something more creatively satisfying.
While attending USC Marshall, Tyler found in these industries the culture and fulfillment that he was looking for, most notably in the Marshall Interactive Gaming Association (MIGA) and the Business of Entertainment Association (BEA). Wanting to help contribute to the growth of these industries he resonated so deeply with, he applied for and was elected for the role of President of MIGA. He plans to passionately support the growth of this community and its members, and is more than happy to connect with you: Please feel free to reach out if there is anything you might need!

EVP and VP of Marketing
Akash is a software engineer with a career that's spanned Mercedes-Benz, Fractal Analytics, and Uber, starting in ML and AI implementation testing before moving into mainstream software and web development. A self-described "gamer by birth," he's now using his MBA from USC Marshall to pivot that lifelong passion into a profession, aiming his engineering background at the business side of the games industry.
That pivot is already in motion: Akash is currently leading zero-to-one launch marketing and community management for indie titles at Glass Arcade Studios and Riverside Interactive, taking games from nothing to a real audience. It's a fitting next chapter for someone who's spent a career building the technical backbone of software and is now applying that same rigor to building the players, buzz, and communities that make a game launch succeed.

He built a dynamic foundation in global entertainment operations and finance, managing initiatives at The Walt Disney Company, 20th Century Fox, and Insomniac.
Driven to shape the future of media at the strategic level, he pursued his MBA at USC Marshall. Danny’s love for video games started at the age of 5 with Spyro the Dragon, and has a relentless hold on him ever since. A software engineer by trade with two computer science degrees, Danny left behind development at companies like Honeywell and Sunwest Mortgage to start his own indie game studio, making his own games and creating content for Fortnite.
His indie venture led to work with other small studios, ranging from programming and design to marketing and strategy consulting. This experience led Danny to pursue the business side of the gaming industry, bringing him out to Los Angeles and USC Marshall’s School of Business. Bring up games in his general vicinity, and you’ll be locked into meandering conversation for a 3 hour minimum.

VP of Finance
Navarro is a MBA student at USC Marshall pursuing finance and data analysis roles in all facets of the entertainment industry.
One of his earliest memories is his father reading chapters of the Lord of the Rings as his bedtime story. He fell in love with the world of storytelling and especially mediums that allow the audience to craft and be immersed in the story around them. His first ever game was Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 which spawned his love of games, cars, and pit maneuvering cop cars. One of those is false.
Navarro started his career journey in the buying team at LEGOLAND California and this summer had the privilege of interning at PlayStation with the Peripheral Licensing Team. Please ask him anything about PlayStation or LEGO and he always down to get a bite to eat.

Head of ESports
Between martial arts, boy scouts, and wanting to be a two-sport athlete, you could always find Forrest outside as a kid (...weird for a gamer). Forrest was always in pursuit of his next arena, and by the time he was in college, he was helping transform the ESports club into a dedicated ESports team as part of the university sports department.
Since competing across League of Legends, Overwatch, and Valorant, Forrest has gotten to work across life sciences, equity research, and consulting in real estate. Forrest sees Marshall Interactive Gaming Association (MIGA) as bringing together all the passionate gamers-at-heart. Taking over as the Head of ESport, Forrest is excited to continue to expand MIGA to encompass more Trojans into the spectacle that is gaming and widen the horizon of those who don’t see themselves as gamers, yet.

Today, Jacky is focused on expanding his network within the video game industry by connecting with developers, designers, artists, marketers, and business professionals who share a passion for creating memorable gaming experiences.
