Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Christopher is a cross-functional data-driven strategist passionate about empowering sustainable creativity in video games across transmedia entertainment. Before joining USC Marshall, he was a Management Consultant with Innovia Partners, advising globally influential creative leaders across Canada and the UK. Christopher’s career journey led him to Mattel’s Digital Gaming team this past summer as a Strategy & Operations Intern. As President, Christopher is collaborating with MIGA’s Board to serve members across all facets of their gaming career journeys.
Christopher loves cinematic storytelling, watching sports as a delusional fan, going to music concerts, and travelling to eat local cuisines. Some of his favourite games (despite his growing backlog) inlclude: Assassin’s Creed II, Journey, Persona 5, Super Smash Bros., and Uncharted 2.

Originally from China and lived in North Carolina. Ying is a passionate League of Legends player and a full-time MBA candidate at USC Marshall School of Business. With a background in Business Administration and Information Technology from North Carolina State University. Ying combines her technical expertise with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Prior to Marshall, she worked at Yardi Systems, where she managed SaaS implementations and cultivated client relationships, further developing her analytical and communication skills.
At Marshall, Ying serves as the VP of Community Engagement for the Interactive Gaming Association, focusing on fostering connections between gaming enthusiasts and industry professionals. She is dedicated to creating events and opportunities that inspire students to explore careers in gaming and technology. Outside of academics and organizing events, Ying enjoys exploring the latest gaming trends and spending time outdoors.

Hunter is a 2025 MBA candidate in the Marshall FT MBA program. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a bachelor of science in music business. Prior to business school, he was an artist manager working with music producers, and running his Artist Management firm.
Hunter interned at Altman Solon, a boutique TMT consulting firm this summer in the Los Angeles office. He is leveraging his entertainment and consulting experience to pursue a career in the gaming industry.
Hunter loves to play all different kind of games, from single-player RPGs like Elden Ring and Black Myth Wukong, to MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, and MOBA games like LoL and DeadLock, to mobile games like Diablo Immortal.
Fun fact:
Hunter used to be a professional Ballet dancer. In his free time, you can find Hunter playing with his two dogs (Shiba Inu and Border Collie), making music, or gaming online. He used to play competitive WoW, was ranked 5th best DK in the world back in May 2023.

Sam is a professional filmmaker and photographer originally from Taipei, Taiwan. He earned his undergraduate degree in foreign languages and literature from National Taiwan University. Before pursuing his MBA, Sam worked as an editor at a commercial film studio and later led an in-house production team at a crowdfunding marketing agency. Driven by his passion for the entertainment industry, he came to USC Marshall to immerse himself in this hub of entertainment and explore opportunities to transition into a marketing or strategy role. Sam loves to play single-player ARPGs, such as Elden Ring and The Legend of Zelda, or sports games like 2K Basketball. In fact, he purchases a new version of 2K every two years to try the new gameplay and players.

Ayush Bajpai is a 2025 MBA candidate at USC Marshall. Originally from India, Ayush’s professional journey has been anything but conventional. Starting from tech consulting focusing on AI at Bain & Company, skyrocketing an indie music label’s listeners to 6 million as a Chief Marketing Officer, to co-founding a game development studio, and even working on business strategy during his summer internship at Paramount Pictures, his career has been a rollercoaster fueled by curiosity and strategy.
At Marshall, Ayush serves as the VP of Career Development for the Marshall Interactive Gaming Association, VP of Recruitment at High Tech Association and the VP of Entrepreneurship at the Entrepreneurship and Venture Management Association, where he empowers students to forge paths at the intersection of tech, gaming, entertainment, and entrepreneurship. He’s also working on an AI-based product that helps new parents —a testament to his belief in tech’s power to foster human connection.
When Ayush isn’t tinkering with new ideas, you might find him diving into cinematic lore, grooving at concerts, playing PvP games, and channelling his passion for creativity, technology, and storytelling to craft innovative and impactful experiences.
Fun Fact:
Ayush once co-founded a street performance group in India, tackling social issues through art. These days, his performances are limited to convincing his friends that great professional and personal life can co-exist.

Nicolas Johnson is an MBA candidate at USC Marshall, with a focus on Strategy & Finance. He has successfully led major global initiatives at Netflix, particularly in talent acquisition and development. Also working as a finance consultant serving clients in the entertainment industry. At Netflix, he implemented key frameworks to optimize talent processes and championed global talent development initiatives. A Los Angeles native, he enjoys tennis, exploring the outdoors, and playing Rocket League.
