Use the Event Process Overview for guidance on planning large on-campus club events. This includes event/venue preparation, communication and outreach, and budget and finance guidelines.
You must use USC approved vendors for all events. For an up-to-date list of USC approved vendors, please visit the Commonly Used Vendors page.
If you want to use a vendor that is not a USC approved vendor, the vendor must go through the approval process by filling out the USC supplier application on the USC Business Services website.
Below you can find information about parking and videotaping:
If you will need to make parking reservations for guest speakers or presenters for your event, you should email a request to your GCS liaison at least one week prior to your event. Parking is paid for by Graduate Career Services so this request should go through them. The event must be career-oriented in order for parking to be provided.
Your GCS liaison will review the request and if approved, will provide a parking code for the McCarthy parking structure. Email the parking code to your guests with a campus map at least one day in advance. Offer to have a club member meet them and escort them to the event.
If you are holding an event in a case room and wish to have it videotaped, you may request the session be videotaped when you submit your room reservation request through Room Scheduling (See "Room Reservations within Marshall" tab on this page).
